Dr. Daron Blankenship

Dr. Daron Blankenship

Dr. Blankenship’s career in physical therapy began when she was in elementary school assisting with her younger brother’s in-home treatment sessions. Seeing how the field combined creative interventions, active lifestyles, and the ability to assist others in their goals made her decision to major in Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Georgia easy. She continued her pursuit for her physical therapy degree at Duke University, where she had opportunities for advanced studies in pediatrics and neurologic therapies.

In her orthopedic rotation, she was introduced to temporomandibular diagnoses and treatments with dry needling, where she was able to combine her knowledge of physical therapy with her sister, father, and mother’s background in dentistry. With a variety of personal experiences as well as professional opportunities, Dr. Blankenship believes that every person should be treated with respect, patience, and clear communication.

Dr. Sarah Luksik

Growing up on California’s central coast, Dr. Luksik is an avid outdoor enthusiast with experience in a variety of sports. Her passion for physical therapy started with a sports medicine internship at Vanderbilt University, where she worked with Division 1 athletes. She earned her doctorate in physical therapy from Duke University, where she gained advanced skills in Vestibular Therapy, Pediatric/Neurological Disorders, and Manual Skills/Manipulation. Her interest in balance and vestibular disorders also led her to explore craniofacial therapy.

After graduation, Dr. Luksik expanded her expertise with certifications in dry needling (CMTPT/DN) and training from the Cranio Facial Therapy Academy (CRAFTA). She enjoys working with individuals experiencing vestibular and craniofacial issues, helping them find significant relief through physical therapy, habit changes, and home exercises.

Dedicated to evidence-based, client-centered care, Dr. Luksik aims to help clients achieve their goals effectively and enjoyably while empowering them to maintain their progress independently. She looks forward to supporting you in reaching your fitness goals.
